Greetings. It has been a while since I wrote my last blog post and I wanted to update everyone as to why that is the case. Back in March, I changed firms. I was running restorative projects for an architecture firm where the focus was on waterproofing with a little bit of CM. I am now working for a multifamily developer in the Bay Area. The intensity of my role has increased exponentially. My primary role is overseeing projects during the construction phase but I also assist with design review, hard cost budgeting, and permitting.

I also got married in June. We had a great ceremony at the the Conservatory of Flowers in San Francisco and the weather cooperated wonderfully.

At the wedding rehearsal, I received a phone call from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. I had been accepted to the MBA program at Haas. I began the program in August and have not had much R&R time since.

I am still enjoying life and hope to keep writing articles about Architecture, Construction and Real Estate. Thank you for your patience while my life continues to evolve. Thanks!
